QPR and Bristol City Play Out Goalless Draw

Queens Park Rangers and Bristol City extended their unbeaten streaks with a 0-0 stalemate at Loftus Road. The Robins remain undefeated since Roy Hodgson took the reins, following two consecutive wins. Rangers, meanwhile, are on a five-match unbeaten run and welcomed back Rumarn Burrell, who made his return as a substitute after over three months out. City dominated the first half, with Scott Twine's half-volley being their best chance, but Joe Walsh made the save. At the other end, Kieran Morgan's shot went wide, Richard Kone's header was caught by Radek Vitek, and Noah Eile nearly scored an own goal. After the break, Walsh pushed Twine's shot away for a corner, and Paul Smyth sliced a shot wide. QPR head coach Julien Stephan made changes to his forward line, bringing on Burrell and Daniel Bennie, but the visitors defended well. Bristol City have kept consecutive clean sheets and appear more solid under Hodgson. The match ended with no notable chances, and the lack of quality was evident when Tomi Horvat over-hit a pass in stoppage time. QPR's Stephan praised his team's effort, saying, 'The season is not finished, and I think the players showed that it's not finished for us in their mindset.' Bristol City's Hodgson stated, 'I thought the teams cancelled each other out... We could have scored a goal or two, but it was a fair result because neither team really did enough to win it.'
