Despite suffering cuts from head clashes, Benn secured the win and swiftly turned his attention to Garcia, saying 'Keep my belt warm!' in a social media post. Garcia, who won the title in February, has responded positively to the challenge. Benn's victory over Prograis, which took his fight record to 25-1, was at a catchweight 3lb above the welterweight limit. Having fought most of his career at welterweight, Benn is now ready to move down to 147lb to face Garcia.
