Noa-Lynn Van Leuven has expressed her determination to keep fighting after being banned from competing in women's darts events. In a video posted on her Instagram account, Van Leuven stated, 'Apparently, I just got retired - not by choice, but because I'm no longer allowed to compete.' She emphasized that the decision affects not just her, but the entire trans community. The Darts Regulation Authority announced the ban, citing a review of its policies and a report from an academic developmental biologist. Van Leuven, who has won six titles on the women's tour and made history by becoming the first transgender woman to play at the World Darts Championship, received support from fellow players, including Michael van Gerwen and Luke Humphries. Despite the setback, Van Leuven remains resolute, saying, 'This isn't the end. I'm just going back to the drawing board. I'm not done fighting.'
