Andreeva Secures Spot in Linz Final Against Potapova

Mirra Andreeva has reached her second WTA Tour final of the year after defeating Elena-Gabriela Ruse 6-4, 6-1 in the Linz Open semi-finals. She continued to dominate in the second set, building a 4-0 lead, and eventually secured her first win over Vekic in their last three encounters. This marks Potapova's return to the final for the first time since her debut win three years ago. The upcoming final will be the pair's fourth meeting, with Andreeva having won their last two match-ups, though they have not yet played each other on clay.
