Hollie Doyle Awaits Wareeth's Classic Trial
Hollie Doyle, our ambassador, has a trio of rides lined up at Southwell on Saturday evening, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Racing. She is also looking forward to the Feilden Stakes at Newmarket the following week, where Archie Watson's exciting colt Wareeth will participate. Wareeth, sired by Sea The Stars, has been pegged as a potential Classic contender since his impressive debut in a Newcastle novice race last month. Following a recent workout in Lambourn, Doyle reports that the colt appears fresh and well. Meanwhile, Ambishio, trained by Mick Appleby, is poised to build on his recent course and distance victory at Southwell. The speedy son of Kuroshio has shown significant improvement since being gelded and will be a strong contender in the Country & Western Night 25th April Handicap. Doyle will also be riding Fircombe Hall in the Come Racing For Free 18th June Handicap, where the chestnut's enthusiasm and recent form make him a promising prospect. Other notable mentions include Thomas Equinas, who needs to improve on his recent performances, and Dean Ivory's seven-year-old, who knows how to win on the All-Weather but faces a challenging draw. The upcoming Feilden Stakes will be a crucial test for Wareeth, and a strong performance could pave the way for a potential Derby bid.
