Augusta National Masters Leaderboard: Final Results

The final standings from the Masters tournament, the first major of the year, are in. Held at Augusta National in Augusta, Georgia, the competition saw Rory McIlroy successfully defend his title. McIlroy made history by becoming the first player to achieve a career Grand Slam since Tiger Woods. World No 1 Scottie Scheffler was the pre-tournament favourite but ultimately finished a shot behind McIlroy, who carded a one-under 71. Tyrrell Hatton, Justin Rose, Cameron Young, and Russell Henley tied for third, while Collin Morikawa and Sam Burns shared seventh place. The top 10 was rounded off by Max Homa and Xander Schauffele. The Masters is the first of four men's golf majors in as many months, followed by the PGA Championship, US Open, and The Open. The PGA Tour now heads to South Carolina for the RBC Heritage, where Justin Thomas will defend his title.
