Leicester Comeback Falls Short as They Remain in Relegation Zone

A late goal from Jordan Ayew was not enough to propel Leicester out of the relegation zone, as they drew 1-1 with Sheffield Wednesday. The Foxes dominated the game but were repeatedly thwarted by incredible saves from Wednesday goalkeeper Pierce Charles. Jerry Yates had given the hosts an early lead, but Ayew's 84th-minute strike earned Leicester a point. Despite having numerous chances, Leicester were unable to find a winner, with Charles making several brilliant saves to deny them. The draw leaves Leicester in 22nd place, one point behind Portsmouth with five Championship games remaining. Sheffield Wednesday manager Henrik Pedersen praised his team's effort, saying they gave everything to win, while Leicester manager Gary Rowett expressed frustration at his team's inability to capitalize on their chances.
