Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Charges for Alleged Drunk and Reckless Driving

Dujon Sterling, a 26-year-old Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to face charges of driving under the influence and reckless driving. The allegations stem from an incident on January 4, where Sterling is said to have driven at high speeds through Glasgow City Centre, posing a threat to other road users and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, he is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level exceeding the legal limit, specifically 60 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, well above the permissible 22 microgrammes per 100 millilitres. This incident occurred a day after Sterling played in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. During his appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea, and the case has been postponed to May 5 for further proceedings.
