Conor Benn Secures Unanimous Decision Win Over Regis Prograis

Conor Benn emerged victorious against former world champion Regis Prograis, winning a unanimous decision with all three judges scoring the fight 98-92 in his favor. The bout took place on the undercard of Tyson Fury's comeback fight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Prograis, a two-time world champion at super-lightweight, announced his retirement shortly after the contest. Benn, revisiting the site of his previous rivalry with Chris Eubank Jr, moved down to a 150lb catchweight and utilized his youthful energy and consistent aggression to outmaneuver Prograis. Despite Prograis landing several solid shots, including a left cross that knocked Benn back, the latter's relentless pressure and powerful hooks ultimately secured his victory. Benn staggered Prograis with a one-two combination at the end of the first round and continued to drive blows into his opponent's trunk throughout the fight. Prograis, however, relied on his experience and resilience to last the full 10 rounds, becoming only the fourth fighter to go the distance with Benn. In other fights, Richard Riakporhe defeated Jeamie TKV in five rounds to become a two-time British champion, while Justis Huni edged out Frazer Clarke on a majority decision in their 10-round heavyweight clash.
