Lampard and Hellberg Among Nominees for EFL Manager of the Season Award

The EFL has announced the nominees for the 2026 EFL Awards, with Frank Lampard, Alex Neil, Sergej Jakirovic, and Kim Hellberg shortlisted for the EFL Championship Manager of the Season award. The winners will be revealed at the annual ceremony on April 19, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football. The EFL Championship Player of the Season award will be contested by Hayden Hackney, Carl Rushworth, Femi Azeez, and Zan Vipotnik, who have all played crucial roles in their teams' promotion pushes. The League One and League Two Manager and Player of the Season awards will also be presented, along with several other categories, including the EFL Young Player of the Season, EFL Teams of the Season, and Goal of the Season. The Contribution to League Football and Sir Tom Finney awards will be given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the sport. Seven off-the-pitch awards will also be presented, recognizing the outstanding work of clubs, players, and staff in their local communities.
