Mikaela Mayer is expected to be in attendance for Chantelle Cameron's upcoming bout, fueling speculation about a potential future showdown for the world title. Cameron, the former undisputed super-lightweight champion, will face Michaela Kotaskova for the WBO super-welterweight title in a 10-round match on the undercard of the world title unification fight between Caroline Dubois and Terri Harper, airing live on Sky Sports. Mayer, who unified the WBA, WBC, and WBO super-welterweight titles by defeating Mary Spencer via unanimous decision in October, also holds the WBO welterweight belt and may face Britain's unified champion Lauren Price in an undisputed world title fight. In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Cameron expressed her admiration for Mayer, stating, 'I'm a huge fan of Mayer, despite wanting to fight her. I think she's been treated unfairly, particularly in her fights against Natasha Jonas and Alycia Baumgardner.' Cameron hopes that Mayer will become undisputed champion, allowing her to challenge for the belts later on. Cameron, who has a 21-1 professional record, including a win and a loss against Katie Taylor, will enter the ring on Sunday following her victory over Jessica Camara in July 2025.
