Anderson Set for UK Debut on Wardley-Dubois Undercard

American heavyweight Jared Anderson is poised to make his UK debut on May 9 in Manchester, with a deal nearing completion to see him fight on the undercard of Fabio Wardley's world title defence against Daniel Dubois. The co-promotion deal with Top Rank is expected to be announced soon. Anderson, one of the most promising young heavyweights in the US with only one loss in 19 professional bouts, is known for his formidable punching power, having secured 15 of his 18 victories by knockout. His past victories include wins over former world champion Charles Martin, as well as Jerry Forrest, Andrii Rudenko, and George Arias, all of whom he defeated with rapid finishes. Currently ranked sixth by the WBO, Anderson could be looking to force his way into a world championship shot, with the UK's Wardley and Dubois set to contest the title in May at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester. Wardley is coming off a career-best win over Joseph Parker, while Dubois is heading straight back into a world title fight after losing to Oleksandr Usyk last July.
