Tottenham's Paratici Set to Leave for Fiorentina Role

Fabio Paratici, Tottenham's joint sporting director, will be departing the club at the end of January to join Fiorentina. This move comes three months after his return to the club. Paratici had initially left Spurs in April 2023 following a rejected appeal against a two-and-a-half-year ban by Italy's highest sports court, but he returned in October to work alongside Johan Lange. The Italian executive will now be leaving to move back to his native country, as stated by chief executive Vinai Venkatesham. Venkatesham expressed gratitude towards Paratici for his contributions and wished him well for the future, emphasizing that the club's management structure is resilient to personnel changes. Paratici also thanked the club, stating his love for the time spent at Spurs but expressing his desire to return to Italy and join Fiorentina. He believes the club will achieve sustained success and will be watching closely from Italy.
