Conor Benn is confident that he is on the verge of securing a WBC welterweight title fight, and is eager to take on the winner of the upcoming bout between Mario Barrios and Ryan Garcia. Having been named the mandatory challenger for the WBC belt, Benn is poised to make his move. Following his successful rematch against Eubank Jr in the middleweight division in November, Benn has dropped down in weight to pursue his long-held ambition of becoming a world champion.
