Gordon shines as 10-man Hearts secure crucial win at Dundee

Despite being reduced to 10 men, Hearts managed to overcome a resilient Dundee side and claim a narrow win, restoring their six-point lead in the Scottish Premiership title race. The match got off to a lively start, with Dundee's Billy Koumetio testing Alexander Schwolow early on. However, it was Hearts who broke the deadlock, courtesy of Claudio Braga's low shot from 20 yards, which deflected off the post and into the net. The goal was marred by controversy, as Dundee claimed the ball was rolling when Cammy Devlin took the quick free-kick in the build-up. Schwolow's red card on the stroke of half-time, for bringing down Tony Yogane outside the box, handed Craig Gordon an opportunity to prove his worth. The 43-year-old goalkeeper, making his first appearance of the season, denied Dundee on multiple occasions, including a stunning stoppage-time save to thwart Emile Acquah's header. Gordon's heroics ensured Hearts' title charge remained on track, as they ground out a 1-0 win despite being outnumbered for much of the match.
