Rangers Complete Signing of Midfielder Tochi Chukwuani as Röhl's First Acquisition

Rangers have officially announced the signing of Tochi Chukwuani from Austrian club Sturm Graz, marking the first arrival under the tenure of Danny Röhl. The deal is reportedly worth an initial £4.3m, with potential add-ons, for the 22-year-old midfielder. Chukwuani, who has 20 caps for Denmark's U21 team, has committed to a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Scottish Premiership side. His signing comes as Rangers aim to claim their first league title in five years. Having won the Austrian league title last season and possessing Champions League experience, Chukwuani brings valuable expertise to the team. In a statement, he expressed his excitement about joining Rangers, citing the club's rich history and massive fanbase as key motivators. Chukwuani previously played with current Rangers teammates Mohamed Diomande and Oliver Antman at FC Nordsjaelland, where he set a record as the club's youngest league goalscorer at 17. Röhl welcomed Chukwuani, highlighting his unique qualities that will bolster the midfield and praising his experience in European competitions and title wins. The signing is seen as a significant move for Rangers, who are also nearing the completion of a £3m deal for left-back Tuur Rommens from Belgian Pro League side Westerlo.
