Rangers' Röhl Optimistic About Signing Rommens and Chukwuani by the Weekend

Rangers' head coach Danny Röhl is confident that the team will secure two significant signings before their Scottish Premiership match against Aberdeen on Sunday, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports. The club has agreed on a fee of around £3m with Belgian Pro League side Westerlo for the transfer of left-back Tuur Rommens. Additionally, a £4m deal is in place for Sturm Graz midfielder Tochi Chukwuani to join Rangers at Ibrox. Röhl expressed his optimism, stating, "We are on the right track, but I cannot confirm anything at this moment. Let's see what the next 24 hours bring, but I'm feeling very positive." He also mentioned, "In football, you can never be certain about transfers until they are officially confirmed, but we are moving in the right direction. I expect to see some new faces before Sunday." Röhl emphasized the importance of patience and careful decision-making in the transfer process. Rangers have been pursuing Rommens, who has made 79 appearances for Westerlo over the past two years and has earned nine caps for Belgium U21s. Chukwuani, who has 20 caps for Denmark U21s, was not included in Sturm Graz's friendly match against Club Brugge on Thursday, fueling speculation about his potential move to Rangers.
