Dundee Completes Stunning Comeback to Defeat Kilmarnock

In a thrilling match, Dundee managed to overturn their deficit and claim a vital 2-1 victory against Kilmarnock at Dens Park. The visitors drew first blood in the first half courtesy of Greg Kiltie, but Dundee fought back with Ash Hay scoring the equaliser and Charlie Reilly netting the winning goal. This triumph propelled Dundee to ninth place, establishing a six-point cushion over Kilmarnock, who are now winless in 13 matches. Prior to the game, Dundee suffered a setback when Cameron Congreve was ruled out due to a quad injury sustained during their win over Falkirk on Saturday. Reilly, making his first start for Dundee, replaced the injured Congreve, while captain Simon Murray was suspended following a straight red card in the previous match. The visitors had a narrow escape in the fifth minute when Tobi Oluwayemi's clearance landed at the feet of Callum Jones, but his shot was blocked. Jones had another chance soon after, courtesy of Reilly's cross, but Oluwayemi made a crucial save to deny him. However, Dundee were caught off guard when Kilmarnock took the lead in the 38th minute. A quick free-kick from inside the Kilmarnock half caught Luke Graham off guard, allowing Kiltie to capitalize and score. Dundee eventually equalised in the 57th minute when Tony Yogane's cross from the left found its way to the back post, where Reilly headed the ball across goal for Hay to score his first goal for the club. Hay then had a shot blocked, but the ball fell to Reilly, who curled a fine finish past Oluwayemi to seal the win.
