Renowned footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has officially married his long-time girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, in a civil ceremony held in Portugal. The couple, who met in Madrid in 2016, shared a photo of their wedding rings on Instagram. With his club, Al Nassr, set to begin their 2026-27 Saudi Pro League campaign just four days later, Ronaldo, 41, exchanged vows in the picturesque coastal town of Cascais, near Lisbon, surrounded by their five children.
Throughout his illustrious career, Ronaldo has played for several prominent teams, including Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al Nassr, and Portugal, scoring nearly 1,000 goals. Having recently participated in his sixth World Cup, Ronaldo shares the record for most appearances in the men's finals with Argentina's Lionel Messi.
Following his last World Cup game, Ronaldo expressed his sadness but emphasized that he will not make hasty decisions regarding his future with Portugal.
