Vanessa Gold, the joint-chair of West Ham, has confirmed that she has agreed to sell her family's 25.1% stake in the club to a consortium led by Amanda Staveley, Mehrdad Ghodoussi, and PCP Capital Partners. The deal is subject to a pre-emption process, which allows existing shareholders to purchase the shares instead. The Staveley-led consortium has signed a legally binding agreement, and the sale process is expected to take approximately two months to complete. West Ham's current shareholders, including David Sullivan, will have the opportunity to acquire the shares, and the club has assured supporters that the day-to-day operations will not be affected by the potential change in ownership.

The development comes after a previous agreement between Gold and Daniel Kretinsky to sell the stake fell through, and Sullivan has expressed his disappointment over the Gold family's decision to sell their shares to the Staveley-led consortium.
