Aaron McKenna is confident that securing the middleweight title will unlock opportunities to face prominent figures in the boxing world. "Since I began boxing at six, this moment has been my dream. Now, with the fight happening in Ireland, it's even more special," McKenna shared with Sky Sports. The prospect of fighting in front of an Irish crowd fills him with excitement. "Twenty years of dedication lead up to this night, and I'm ready," he said.
A victory, according to McKenna, would position him for higher-profile bouts. "My goal is to become the undisputed champion and then win titles in multiple weight classes. Given my height, I can move up to heavyweight.
By the end of my career, I envision myself competing at the highest level," he stated. McKenna expressed interest in a potential match against Chris Eubank Jr, suggesting it could be a significant fight.
"I'm 100 percent certain it can happen," he said, inviting Eubank Jr to attempt to replicate his family's past successes in Ireland. McKenna recognizes Oliha as a formidable opponent but remains confident in his abilities.
"I know what I need to do, and I'm more than prepared," he asserted. With his sights set on the world title, McKenna believes winning will open numerous doors for his career.
