Anna Huang preserved her narrow lead over Charley Hull during the third round of the PIF London Championship. Following a course-record 62 in the second round, Hull moved up the leaderboard and further solidified her position with a six-under 67 in the third round, which included nine birdies. This performance propelled her into second place, merely three shots behind Huang, who achieved a course-best 65 in the third round. Hull, a five-time LET winner who finished tied for sixth at the AIG Women's Open earlier this month, scored four birdies and two bogies on the front nine and one bogey accompanied by five birdies on the back nine.
Her consistent play kept the pressure on Huang going into the final round on Sunday. Hull stated, 'I didn't start well, but then I bounced back and felt like I played solidly.' She also praised Huang, saying, 'Anna is a really good player, and I think we will definitely see her on the LPGA Tour next year.' Elsewhere in the tournament, Aine Donegan of Ireland jumped into third place with a 69, ahead of Thailand's Patty Tavatanakit and Wales' Lydia Hall, who are tied on 10-under. The final round of the PIF London Championship will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Golf on Sunday.
