Due to personal reasons, Castleford Tigers head coach Ryan Carr will be absent from the upcoming game against Hull KR. In his place, Chris Chester, Scott Murrell, and Rob Nickolay will take charge, with support from club legend Adrian Vowles. Carr, who joined the team in pre-season on a three-year contract, was previously the coach of Featherstone Rovers and assistant manager at Leeds Rhinos. The club has confirmed that the reason for Carr's absence is personal and contrary to social media reports.
The team, currently ninth in the Super League table with seven wins from 21 games, will face the Robins, followed by Hull FC, St Helens, Catalans Dragons, Bradford Bulls, and Huddersfield Giants in their remaining six games of the season.
