This Saturday, Aaron McKenna will headline Zuffa Boxing 10 in Dublin, live on Sky Sports, as he attempts to become Ireland's latest world champion. McKenna, boasting a 20-0 record with 10 knockouts, will face off against Italy's Etinosa Oliha, who also remains undefeated with a 22-0 record and 10 knockouts, for the vacant IBF middleweight title.
Oliha has expressed confidence in his ability to outmaneuver McKenna, stating, "I don't think he can match my work-rate. I'm a versatile boxer, so anything he brings won't be new to me.
I will win this fight and inflict pain on him." McKenna, however, remains unfazed by the prospect of defeat, asserting his readiness to secure victory by any means necessary. "It doesn't matter what he brings; I'm prepared for everything," he stated. "I've trained for every style possible throughout my career. Whatever he brings, I'm focused on my strategy and what I'll do in the ring." The chief support bout will feature Irish middleweight Callum Walsh as he resumes his pursuit of major titles against England's Tyler Denny in a 10-round contest.
Other notable matches include unbeaten Scottish middleweight Sam Hickey facing Brad Axe in an eight-round middleweight contest, Ireland's Joe Ward facing Dutchman Artjom Kasparian in a 10-round light-heavyweight bout, and Louis Greene of Kent battling Romanian Daniel Buciuc at middleweight. The main card will be broadcast live on Sky Sports from 7 pm, featuring additional Irish representation at middleweight, including Stevie McKenna and Owen O'Neill, as well as Connor Coyle facing American Mark Beuke.
The event will also be available to stream contract-free with NOW.
