The third round of the 50th AIG Women's Open is underway at Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club in Lancashire, with Haeran Ryu holding a one-shot lead. Ryu is chasing her third consecutive major title and will play in the final group alongside Japan's Shiho Kuwaki. World No 2 Jeeno Thitikul, two strokes back, is seeking her first major title and will play with American Solheim Cup hopeful Yealimi Noh. English players Lottie Woad and Charley Hull are five strokes behind as they pursue an English major victory.
Only 19 players are under par at the halfway stage, with 68 of the 144-strong field making the cut on four over or better. This event is also the last in Team Europe's qualification campaign for the Solheim Cup, with captain's picks to be announced on Monday. The tee times for the third round are as follows: 08:50 Pia Babnik and Sara Kouskova, 09:00 Manon de Roey and Cara Gainer, 09:10 Nastasia Nadaud and Ayaka Furue, and so on.
