Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing a summer move for Liverpool's Cody Gakpo. Head coach Roberto De Zerbi is keen to bolster his attacking options, having already strengthened his midfield and defense. However, Liverpool are unlikely to let Gakpo go without securing a replacement, given his four-year contract and significant market value.
The Reds are expected to make a formal approach for Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola, but the deal is expected to be complex, with PSG valuing the winger at £145m. Gakpo's potential departure would leave Liverpool with limited options on the wing, including teenager Rio Ngumoha and new signing Victor Munoz. Meanwhile, Spurs have also explored a potential deal for Manchester City's Savinho, but the Brazilian's new contract and City's desire for a replacement make the move uncertain. De Zerbi has hinted at another significant transfer, having already spent £237m this summer, and confirmed that the new arrival would be an attacker.
The Spurs boss also suggested that two or three more players could join the squad, with the club looking to complete its transfer business.
