The world number one has consistently averaged over 109 in all four of his matches leading up to the final and is the strong favorite to become the first consecutive winner since Michael van Gerwen. Price, meanwhile, is heading into his first major TV final since 2023 and his first World Matchplay final since 2022, with the Welshman determined to disrupt Littler's title bid. Price expressed his confidence, stating, 'When I enter any game, I consider myself the favorite, and that's how I prepare.
I genuinely believe that if I bring my A-game, it doesn't matter who my opponent is - I will win.' He added, 'I'm not just here to make it to the finals or climb the rankings; I'm here to win.' Despite having lost his last nine matches against Littler, Price remains optimistic about his chances, saying, 'I know I have a lot more to give, and if that happens, I'll lift the trophy.
