The highly anticipated 2027 Ashes series is set to take place in England, with both the men's and women's teams facing off against Australia in a series of thrilling matches. England's men's team will begin their quest for redemption against Australia, following their 4-1 defeat in the 2025-26 series, with the first Test match scheduled to take place at Trent Bridge on June 18. The subsequent Test matches will be held at Lord's, Edgbaston, and the Utilita Bowl in Southampton, which will host a men's Ashes Test for the first time from July 21.
The series will conclude with the fifth and final Test at The Kia Oval, starting on July 29. Prior to the Ashes, England is scheduled to play a five-match ODI series against Pakistan from May 15-26, followed by a one-off Test against Bangladesh at Lord's from May 28. The English summer schedule will come to a close on September 25 with the completion of an eight-match white-ball series against New Zealand, comprising three ODIs and five T20Is, starting on September 7.
The England Women's team, who were whitewashed 16-0 in the 2025 series in Australia, will also face a challenging series. Their bid to end a 13-year Women's Ashes drought will begin with a one-off Test against Australia at Headingley from June 24.
