Beau Greaves has made history by becoming the first female player to secure a PDC ranking title, achieving a thrilling 8-7 win over Michael Smith in the Players Championship 11 final held in Milton Keynes. Greaves' remarkable victory was sealed with a stunning 142 checkout in the final leg, adding to her earlier impressive finish of 170, known as The Big Fish, which gave her a 6-3 lead.
What makes her achievement even more notable is that she defeated three former world champions in her last three matches, including Gary Anderson and Rob Cross. Anderson had earlier achieved a nine-darter in his match against Alexander Merkx.
