Rugby legend George North has revealed plans to retire from the sport at the end of the current season. North, 34, began his illustrious career with the Scarlets in 2010, before joining Northampton Saints in 2013, where he won the Premiership title. He later moved to Ospreys in 2018 and then joined French club Provence. With 121 caps for Wales, North is third on the country's all-time list for appearances and second for try scorers with 47 tries.
Having retired from international rugby in 2024, North also toured with the British and Irish Lions twice. In a heartfelt video message, North expressed his gratitude to fans, family, and friends, stating, 'The time feels right for me to retire. I've been fortunate enough to live my dream, playing alongside exceptional players, coaches, and support staff.' North is now looking forward to the next chapter of his life, thanking everyone for their unwavering support over the years.
