Alonso, who has been racing for 41 years, says he still feels competitive, motivated, and happy behind the wheel. He loves racing and finds the prospect of stopping difficult to accept. With Aston Martin struggling in the new era of F1 rules, Alonso may be reluctant to end his career on a low note, and the team may not have many options to replace him for the 2027 season.
The Miami Grand Prix, the next F1 event, will take place on May 1-3 and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports F1.
