With four more majors looming on the horizon, each offering a higher points haul, the race to secure a spot on the Solheim Cup team is becoming increasingly intense and fascinating to watch. Last week we welcomed the PING Europe apparel team to The Chevron Championship for what could be the inaugural fitting session for both players and their caddies. Over the past three Solheim Cups we have built a close partnership with the PING Europe design crew, and that relationship has made the fitting process exceptionally smooth. They are receptive to our feedback and eager to fine‑tune both the cut and the style of the garments to suit our preferences.
While the final garments will remain a surprise until the squads arrive in the Netherlands, I was given an exclusive preview of the accessories we have selected, the fabrics we have chosen, and the colour palette that will define the look of Team Europe. In addition to the core uniform, there are a few playful details and hidden surprises that we are still polishing behind the scenes. We are also finalising the formal attire for the Gala Dinner, which is scheduled for Wednesday of Solheim Cup week, as well as the ensemble we will wear for the Opening Ceremony. Both events will showcase a more refined aesthetic that still reflects the team’s identity.

The buzz surrounding the Solheim Cup is palpable. It feels as though every conversation I have these days inevitably turns to the tournament, and I am constantly fielding questions about the event. Balancing my duties as an active tour player with the responsibilities of captaincy has been a whirlwind, but I am fortunate to have the unwavering support of the Ladies European Tour, the LPGA, and my management team as I navigate this dual role.
Being on this journey alongside the competitors is precisely why I volunteered for the captaincy.
