According to Claudio Braga, Hearts players have been quietly confident about their Premiership title chances for a significant portion of the season. The team has been at the top of the league for most of the campaign and currently holds a three-point lead over Celtic, with Rangers trailing by a further point.
Braga, a nominee for the PFA Scotland Premiership player of the year award, acknowledges that the club's first title since 1960 is within reach. "We've been focused on taking it one game at a time, which has been crucial," Braga explained. "Now, we're aware that winning all our remaining games will secure the title, and that's what the city, the club, and the fans expect from us." With only four games left to play, Braga emphasized the need for calmness, particularly ahead of their upcoming match against Rangers. Having joined Hearts from Aalesunds last summer, the 26-year-old has been the club's top scorer this season with 17 goals.
Initially, Braga's expectations were to potentially win a cup or finish in the top three, but the current situation has exceeded his expectations.
