Hearts head coach Derek McInnes believes their upcoming match against Edinburgh rivals Hibs could be their most challenging game yet as they pursue the Scottish Premiership title. With five games remaining, the Jambos are one point ahead of Rangers at the top of the table.
McInnes stated, 'Arguably, it could be our hardest game for various reasons, considering it's Hibs away and a derby match.' He expressed his delight with the team's efforts so far and acknowledged the excitement of the title race. The team has the best head-to-head record against top-six teams this season but lost their last trip to Easter Road in December. McInnes is aware that their rivals will be determined to hinder their title aspirations, saying, 'Any Hearts-Hibs fixture is never meaningless.' Influential player Oisín McEntee will miss the remainder of the title run-in due to a hamstring injury.
McInnes also provided updates on other injured players, including Tomas Magnusson and Harry Milne.
