York secured a 38-14 victory over Toulouse, with Scott Galeano scoring a hat-trick, to claim their third Betfred Super League win at the LNER Community Stadium. The Knights, who had suffered five consecutive losses, took an early lead through Paul Vaughan, who celebrated his 35th birthday with a try under the posts.

Another try was disallowed due to the ball not being grounded, but York soon scored again through Vaughan, with Cody Hunter converting to give the home side a 12-0 lead after 20 minutes. Thomas Lacans scored for Toulouse just after the half-hour mark, but Galeano dove in down the right corner as York led 18-6 at half-time.

York extended their lead after 55 minutes when Jesse Dee chased a kick and hooked the ball back, allowing Galeano to score easily. Kieran Buchanan added another try, and Hunter slotted over a penalty to make it 32-6 just after the hour mark. Toulouse scored their second try in the 66th minute through Henry O'Kane, but York finished strongly as Galeano completed his hat-trick with eight minutes left.

Toulouse scored a late consolation through Mathieu Jussaume. Meanwhile, Leigh Leopards defeated Huddersfield Giants 30-16, with Josh Charnley scoring two second-half tries on his 400th appearance, taking his Super League try tally to 263. AJ Towse also scored two tries, while Innes Senior and Lachlan Lam contributed to the victory.

Huddersfield's tries came from Adam Swift, Taane Milne, and Jacob Gagai.
