Following a stellar performance in the Prix Ganay at ParisLongchamp, trainer Francis-Henri Graffard has announced plans to enter Daryz in the prestigious Royal Ascot. The four-year-old son of Sea The Stars made a remarkable start to the season, building on his Arc de Triomphe victory last October. After a flawless campaign start, Daryz is expected to continue his winning streak, with connections eyeing the Prince of Wales's Stakes in June as a key target. Daryz's impressive display in the Prix Ganay saw him power through the field under jockey Mickael Barzalona, leaving rivals in his wake.
Nemone Routh, manager for the Aga Khan Studs, expressed delight with the outcome, stating that Daryz has always been held in high regard and is proving to be a 'proper Group One horse.' With further improvement anticipated, Daryz is set to drop back in distance for his next outing in the Prix Aga Khan IV, a strategic move ahead of the Prince of Wales's Stakes.
