Brundle views the Miami Grand Prix as a relaunch of the season following the enforced April break, during which teams have had ample time to enhance their cars. Mercedes, led by Drivers' Championship leader Kimi Antonelli and teammate George Russell, currently dominates the season with three consecutive wins.
Ferrari, with drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, is the closest competitor, with the two teammates separated by eight points in the standings. Brundle believes Hamilton, who has shown a strong affinity for the current car design, is capable of securing victories if given the opportunity. The season, with 19 races remaining, is still considered wide open, with Brundle suggesting that any of the top four teams could potentially win the championship.
