Professional golfer Justin Rose is set to unveil his new McLaren Golf clubs at the Cadillac Championship in Miami, and he remains confident that this change will not hinder his performance. Rose has recently partnered with the renowned Formula 1 team as they venture into the golf industry, with the official launch coinciding with the Miami Grand Prix. Despite his strong form, including a third-place finish at The Masters and a win at the Farmers Insurance Open, Rose does not see his club switch as a gamble. He expressed his enthusiasm for the new clubs, stating that they have incorporated best practices into their development, resulting in a fantastic set of golf clubs.
Rose has been involved in the project from its inception and has been testing the clubs, which he believes will serve him well in the long term. Meanwhile, Alex Fitzpatrick is also competing in the Cadillac Championship, marking his first PGA Tour event as a full member after his victory at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
Fitzpatrick had to adjust his plans to accommodate this opportunity, which has granted him an exemption until the end of the 2028 season and a spot in next month's PGA Championship.
