European women golfers performed admirably, with several of our players posting strong finishes and showing the depth of talent that we can draw upon for the Solheim Cup. Early-season movement in the Rolex Rankings has been noticeable. A variety of players have hit a hot streak, which makes the race for Solheim Cup spots all the more intriguing.

Over the past three Solheim Cups we have built a close partnership with PING Europe, which has streamlined the fitting process and allowed us to provide detailed feedback on style, cut, and functionality. Their willingness to adapt the garments to our preferences has been invaluable.
Although the final outfits will remain a surprise until the teams arrive in the Netherlands, I was able to get an exclusive preview of the accessories we have selected, the fabrics we have chosen, and the colour palettes that will define the look of Team Europe. In addition to the standard uniforms, we are also developing a few special touches—unique pins, embroidered patches, and subtle design elements—that will add a personal flair to the kit. We are currently finalising the attire for the Gala Dinner, which is scheduled for Wednesday of Solheim Cup week, as well as the ensemble we will wear during the Opening Ceremony. Both events demand a balance of elegance and team spirit, so we are working with a Dutch design firm to incorporate local cultural motifs while maintaining the distinctive European identity.

- Fans can stream the competition without a long‑term contract. One of the highlights of the clothing project is that we have decided not to introduce a formal dress for the female members of the delegation this year, a decision that has brought relief to several players, including my vice‑captains, Mel and Carro. The focus remains on functional, performance‑oriented apparel that allows everyone to move freely on the course. Behind the scenes, the work continues with ongoing conversations with players, caddies, and support staff.
Zoom meetings have become a daily staple as we coordinate logistics, discuss fit adjustments, and share updates on travel arrangements. The excitement surrounding the Solheim Cup is palpable; it seems impossible to have a conversation about anything else without the tournament being mentioned. Balancing my responsibilities as a touring professional with the duties of captain has been a demanding but rewarding challenge. I am fortunate to receive strong backing from the Ladies European Tour, the LPGA, and my management team, all of whom have helped me navigate this dual role.
Being able to travel alongside the players gives me a unique perspective and allows me to observe their preparation up close, almost as if I have a front‑row seat inside the ropes.
