Bayer Leverkusen defender Jarrell Quansah has stated that his decision to leave Liverpool for the German club was straightforward. The 23-year-old made the move last summer in a deal worth £35m after progressing through the Reds' academy and making 58 appearances for the first team. Quansah signed a five-year contract with Leverkusen in pursuit of more playing time and has since made 38 appearances this season.
He cited the Leverkusen management's clear plan and detailed understanding of his abilities as key factors in his decision. Quansah expressed his desire to play at the top level, including in the Champions League, and is now focused on helping his team succeed.
