A more likely scenario is if an English team wins the Europa League, with Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest meeting in the semi-finals. If Villa wins the competition but finishes outside the top four, the Premier League would get six teams in the Champions League. However, if Forest wins the Europa League, they would become the sixth English team in the Champions League.
Additionally, if Crystal Palace wins the Conference League, they would compete in the Europa League, potentially leading to nine or even 10 English teams in European competitions next season.
