Canadian boxer Ryan Rozicki, known for his powerful punches, has inked a multi-fight contract with Zuffa Boxing. Rozicki, nicknamed 'The Bruiser', joins the likes of champion Jai Opetaia, former titleholder Chris Billam-Smith, and top contender Brandon Glanton in Zuffa's impressive cruiserweight lineup.
With 21 professional wins, mostly by knockout, Rozicki has proven himself to be a formidable force in the ring. His only loss came in 2021 against Oscar Rivas, a seasoned heavyweight contender.
Since then, Rozicki has remained undefeated in nine consecutive fights, often performing in front of packed crowds in Nova Scotia. In 2024, he fought for the WBC interim title, resulting in a draw against Yamil Alberto Peralta.
Rozicki's notable victories include a win over Olanrewaju Durodola, who had previously gone the distance with notable boxers Richard Riakporhe and Ilunga Makabu. In his most recent bout, Rozicki secured a second-round knockout against Gerardo Mellado. 'I'm thrilled to start this new chapter and be a part of Zuffa's vision,' Rozicki stated.
