Conor Benn has officially signed a multi-fight, multi-year contract with Zuffa Boxing, following a successful collaboration for his recent 10-round victory over former two-time world champion Regis Prograis at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This milestone marks Benn's third consecutive bout at the football ground, preceded by two epic fights against Chris Eubank Jr. Benn had previously revived his family's rivalry with the Eubanks, competing against Junior twice last year, first losing but then securing a decision victory in their rematch. After moving down in weight, Benn faced Prograis at 150lbs, pursuing major fights in the welterweight division.
Zuffa Boxing's Head, Dana White, confirmed that Benn has joined on a two-and-a-half-year deal, comprising five fights. White expressed his excitement, stating, "I like the kid personally and professionally, so we are excited about it." Benn also shared his enthusiasm, saying, "I am very excited to have got this deal done. They share the same vision, and they are excited for the future." This move marks a significant shift in Benn's career, leaving Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing after nearly a decade to join Dana White's new promotional powerhouse.
