As reported by Sky Sports News, Rose, the former RB Leipzig boss, was the top candidate to replace Iraola due to their shared footballing philosophy and style of play. The 49-year-old has been out of management since his dismissal by RB Leipzig in March 2025. While there won't be an official announcement soon, the club is working on completing the necessary paperwork and securing his work visa. Discussions are also underway regarding the composition of his backroom staff.
