Conor Benn has officially signed with Zuffa Boxing, marking a significant shift in his career after nearly a decade with Matchroom Boxing. The decision comes on the heels of his recent victory over Regis Prograis at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Benn's collaboration with Zuffa Boxing began with this fight, which resulted in a 10-round win.
This bout was his third consecutive appearance at the football ground, following two high-profile matches against Chris Eubank Jr. The rivalry between Benn and Eubank Jr. is a reprise of their families' historical feud, with Benn moving up to middleweight for their two encounters last year. Although he lost the first bout, he secured a decision victory in the rematch.
Benn then transitioned to the welterweight division, where he faced Prograis at 150lbs. Zuffa Boxing's head, Dana White, confirmed that Benn has committed to a two-and-a-half-year contract comprising five fights.
