However, LIV Golf has announced its return to Chapultepec Golf Club next year. Rahm, who went winless last season despite claiming the points title, was in dominant form, playing bogey-free golf after making birdie on the second hole and eagling the next.

David Puig finished second, shooting 66 to gain valuable world ranking points and virtually secure his spot in the PGA Championship, with another strong finish potentially earning him a place in the US Open.
