Jonny Clayton strengthened his position at the top of the Premier League Darts standings with a 6-4 win over Luke Littler in the Night 11 final in Rotterdam. This marks Clayton's fourth nightly victory in the 2026 campaign, following his successes in Glasgow, Nottingham, and Brighton. Clayton now holds a five-point lead at the top of the table with 29 points, ahead of Littler with 24 points, Gerwyn Price with 19 points, and Michael van Gerwen with 16 points.
The Welshman is almost guaranteed a spot at Finals Night at The O2 in May. Littler reached his fourth nightly final but was unable to secure the win, despite silencing the Rotterdam crowd after they booed him during his walk-on.
The night saw two Dutch players, Gian van Veen and van Gerwen, participate in the Premier League for the first time since 2019, but both lost in the quarter-finals. Clayton reflected on his win, stating that he was motivated by comments suggesting he would finish at the bottom of the Premier League.
He expressed his respect for Littler, calling him an 'amazing darts player.' Clayton overcame a 2-0 deficit to take the lead, eventually winning 6-4. He also defeated Josh Rock in the semi-finals with a 6-5 win. Littler started the night by defeating Price 6-3, despite facing a hostile crowd.
He then beat Luke Humphries 6-5 to reach the final. Humphries secured his first quarter-final win in four weeks with a 6-3 victory over Van Veen.
Rock remains at the bottom of the table despite his 6-1 win over Stephen Bunting.
