Benn recently signed a multi-year, multi-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing, following his victory over Regis Prograis on the Tyson Fury bill at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. As the mandatory challenger for Garcia's WBC welterweight title, Benn believes he has multiple options for his next fight.
'Of course, the Garcia fight is the priority, but I have plenty of other options,' Benn said. 'There are many big-name fighters calling me out, and if Ryan doesn't want the fight, there are plenty of other opportunities available.' Benn has been amused by the reaction to his points victory over Prograis, with many fighters now seeking to challenge him.
He attributes this to his performance at 150lbs and his ability to go the distance with a two-time world champion. Zuffa Boxing's head, Dana White, is open to making a 'fun' fight between Benn and Garcia, and the organization has also signed former WBO cruiserweight champion Chris Billam-Smith.
