Although the Formula 1 season is on a temporary hiatus, motorsport enthusiasts can still enjoy a wide range of live racing events on Sky Sports F1 throughout April. The channel will feature live coverage from various racing categories and events over the next two weekends, available on both TV and YouTube. This weekend, Max Verstappen will compete in the Nurburgring Endurance Series, with two races taking place on Saturday and Sunday. Verstappen and his teammates previously won the NLS2 race but were disqualified due to a tyre infringement.
The four-time world champion is also set to participate in the iconic Nordschleife 24 Hours in May. Additionally, Sky Sports F1 will broadcast the latest round of the IndyCar season, as well as historic racing events from Goodwood and Monaco. The 2026 IndyCar Series will continue with round five from Long Beach in California, featuring practice, qualifying, warm-up, and the race itself. As the 24-hour race in May approaches, an NLS double-header will take place at the Nurburgring, with Verstappen competing alongside Lucas Auer in a Red Bull-liveried Mercedes GT3 car.
The channel will also cover the 83rd Goodwood Members' Meeting, featuring 13 races with historic machinery, demonstration laps by Jenson Button, and a tribute to James Hunt. The schedule includes IndyCar Long Beach Practice One on Friday, April 17, followed by Goodwood Members' Meeting Day One and NLS 4 on Saturday, April 18. The weekend will conclude with Goodwood Members' Meeting Day Two, NLS 5, and the IndyCar Long Beach Race on Sunday, April 19.
The following week, historic racing from Monaco will be featured, with action from both days of the Historique event. Formula 1 will return on May 1-3 with the Miami Grand Prix, live on Sky Sports F1.
