England rugby star Ellie Kildunne has spoken out about her battle with body dysmorphia, which began during the 2020 coronavirus lockdown. Despite her impressive performance in the Rugby World Cup, including scoring five tries, Kildunne struggled with feelings of loneliness and an unhealthy relationship with food.

She has now revealed her experiences with body dysmorphia and eating disorders, stating that she felt pressure to be smaller, even when she was already considered small in the rugby world. Kildunne credits a physio session at her previous club, Wasps, with helping her to confront her issues and seek support.

With the help of lead physiotherapist Emily Ross, Kildunne was able to address her problems and is now feeling more in control. She hopes that by sharing her story, she can help others who may be struggling with similar issues and provide them with the support and friendship she needed during her own struggles.
